JUNE BUILDING PERMITS TOTAL OVER $2.2 MILLION
The City of Brenham issued 30 building permits in June for over $2.2 million.
Permits for June totaled $2,242,560, almost $400,000 less than June of last year, on 38 permits for $2,611,976.
Last month’s largest permit was issued to John Elford for $400,000, for interior remodeling of the 4-Star Concert Hall.
Four permits were issued last month for new residences in the county, totaling $473,040. This year, 28 new residences have permitted for a total value of $3,808,111.
A total of 146 permits have been issued this year so far, worth $24,985,746. At this time last year, 257 had been issued, adding up to $38,195,225.
