PRAIRIE VIEW A&M VEGETABLE WORKSHOP TOMORROW

  

Prairie View A&M is hosting a vegetable production workshop tomorrow (Tuesday).

The College of Agriculture and Human Sciences is hosting the workshop tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.  The workshop will focus on research-based production of fruit and vegetables.  Participants can join in watermelon taste tests, and they can measure sugar levels in the watermelon.

A complimentary lunch will be served to registered participants.  Registration is free, and pre-registration is requested for accurate meal count.  Registration can be completed onsite, or online, at pvamu.edu/CAHS.

The event will take place in the Carden-Waller Cooperative Extension Building, at 250 East M. Norris Street in Prairie View.
