WASHINGTON CO. EDUCATION FORUM JULY 24TH

Washington County is hosting several school representatives in a forum later this month.

The next event in the Washington County Chamber Forum Series will take place on Tuesday, July 24, and feature Chancellor of Blinn College District Dr. Mary Hensley, Burton ISD Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy and Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson.

Each will give updates on their respective school districts, as well as talk about the challenges they’ve faced concerning education.  Wesley Brinkmeyer of Bluebonnet Electric will serve as emcee of the forum.

Forum tickets are $25 for Chamber members, $35 for non-members, or $250 for a reserved Corporate Table for 8 guests.  A catered buffet lunch is included.  Reservations can be made by calling the Washington County Chamber at 979-836-3695.  The deadline to reserve a seat is Wednesday, July 18th.

The forum will be held on July 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the banquet room of the Blinn College Student Center.
