BELLVILLE MURDER TO BE FEATURED ON TV PROGRAM
A high-profile Austin County murder from 2009 will be featured on an Investigation Discovery Channel television program, later this month.
The murder of Dr. Mario Gonzalez will be the subject of the Investigation Discovery program “Under Siege”, Thursday evening, July 19th at 8:00 p.m.
Gonzalez was murdered at his home near Bellville on August 22nd of 2009. Four men were arrested and charged in the murder.
Two, Misael Santollo and Moises Galvan-Cerna pleaded guilty and were sentenced to lengthy prison sentences. The two others, Christobal Galvan-Cerna and Noel Galvan-Cerna pleaded not guilty and went to trial, where they were found guilty and sentenced to life without parole.
