WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS HOLD QUICK MEETING

  

Washington County Commissioners approved a request for a dehumidifier at today’s (Tuesday) meeting.

Commissioners approved the District Clerk Office’s request for the dehumidifier, from Triple T Refrigeration.  District Clerk Tammy Brauner said the courthouse’s second floor record filing room can get very hot and humid, which can damage records and files stored there.  Precinct 1 Commissioner Don Koester said it’s very important to protect the files.

The dehumidifier’s initial costs for labor, materials and installation are estimated at $5,700.

The Court also approved June’s meeting minutes, Fairgrounds contracts, and accounts payable.
