FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN SNOOK DRIVE-IN BURGLARY CASE

The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office has made four arrests in the Snook Drive-In burglary case.

Authorities have taken 33-year-old Quincy Eugene Nickerson and 19-year-old Dewayne Lamar Johnson, both from Clay, into custody and placed them in the Burleson County Jail. Nickerson and Johnson are on $225,000 and $200,000 bonds, respectively.

The other two arrests, 20-year-old Cornelius Latherio Beroid, Jr. of Navasota, and 21-year-old Allen Michael Daniels of Burton, are currently in the Washington County Jail on separate charges. All four have been charged with Two Counts of Arson and Burglary of a Building.

These charges stem from the burglary and destruction of the Snook Drive-In on June 27th. The suspects attempted to back their truck into the convenience store, engulfing the store in flames. No injuries were ever reported.
The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Brenham, Hempstead, and Burton Police Departments, are still investigating the case.
