SUNDAY ACCIDENT SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL
A Sunday afternoon auto accident led to injuries for two drivers.
Just after 2:30 p.m., a car and a pickup collided at the intersection of South Chappell Hill St. and the Highway 290 East Feeder Road, just south of the Dairy Bar restaurant.
According to authorities, the car ran the stop sign at the intersection and collided with the pickup.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital for evaluation of various injuries.
The Brenham Fire Department assisted with the cleanup of the roadway.
