‘STUFF THE BUS’ THIS SATURDAY IN BRENHAM
The first of two Stuff the Bus sessions is set for this Saturday in Brenham.
This Saturday’s event, from 8:00-to-11:00 a.m. at the WalMart Supercenter, is part of a partnership between the Brenham and Burton ISD’s and the group, For the City.
Supplies and proceeds collected directly benefit the students of Washington County.
Lists of needed supplies can be found at the Brenham and Burton ISD websites.
A second Stuff the Bus will be held Saturday, August 11th, also at WalMart.
The Stuff the Bus events are part of an ambitious community-wide back to school drive, that includes 18 local businesses and the Nancy Carol Roberts Library.
The library is also offering a fine forgiveness program, accepting donated supplies in place of library fines.
