LAST WEEKEND OF HOT NIGHTS COOL TUNES IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

  

This weekend rounds out this summer’s popular “Hot Nights Cool Tunes” series in downtown Brenham.

The Texas Unlimited Band will be on hand to perform a variety of hits from country, 80’s music, and old-school rock ‘n roll.  Community Services Specialist Crystal Locke says this year’s program has been a huge success for the city of Brenham.

 

There will also be several vendors selling food and refreshments, and downtown activities such as the Classic Car Cruise-In.

 

Locke says a planning committee will meet near the end of August to recap this year’s series, and begin booking bands for next year’s concerts.

The concert gets underway at 7 p.m. this Saturday, on the Courthouse Square in downtown Brenham.  This year’s performance is sponsored by Woodson Lumber Company, Strand Associates, Mattrezzz Guys, and the Brenham Clinic.
