FORMER KTEX RADIO HOST KENNETH STILES DIES
A former KTEX and KWHI personality and Air Force veteran has died.
Kenneth “Chris” Stiles, also known as “Chris Hunter” on KTEX, died on Tuesday, following a stroke.
Born in 1950, Stiles reached the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam, receiving two Purple Hearts. After serving, Stiles would go on to become a popular morning radio show host on the KTEX Morning Express for seven years. Stiles could often be heard on remote broadcasts for KWHI-AM.
Stiles was also a talented musician and songwriter, as well as a code-writer for small computer companies.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced for Ken Stiles.
