‘MEET THE CUBS’ SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY
A preseason tradition for Brenham football continues next week with an upcoming pep-rally.
"Meet the Cubs" is set for Wednesday, August 22nd at 7 p.m. at Cub Stadium. The public is invited to come out and meet Brenham’s fall athletes, the Cub Band, the Belles Dance Team, and Brenham’s Junior High and High School cheerleaders.
The Brenham Booster Club will provide free water and popcorn for those who attend, along with additional refreshments from Bahama Bucks.
The Cubs are scheduled to open the season on August 31st, in a non-district home game versus Magnolia West. Kickoff at Cub Stadium is 7:30 p.m., with pregame coverage starting at 7 p.m. on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7, and kwhi.com.
