BLINN HOSTS EXTENDED HOURS FOR BRYAN REGISTRATION SATURDAY
Blinn to offer extended registration hours Saturday at its Central Administrative Services Building in Bryan
Students can speak to enrollment and financial aid specialists, academic advisors between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The Blinn College District will offer extended hours at its Central Administrative Services Building at the Tejas Shopping Center in Bryan on Saturday to help prospective students who have completed their ApplyTexas.org application complete the steps necessary to enroll for courses.
Located at 3125 S. Texas Ave., Suite 1900, in the Tejas Shopping Center in Bryan, Blinn’s Central Administrative Services Building will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. Blinn will offer prospective students the opportunity to meet with enrollment specialists, as well as academic advisors and financial aid professionals. The extended hours are open to all prospective Blinn students, regardless of their campus.
Prospective students also can email blinnbound@blinn.edu with their name, Blinn ID number, and cell phone number to receive personalized assistance with their registration.
Blinn’s academic transfer rate of 36.9 percent ranks second in the state and far exceeds the statewide average of 20.9 percent. In addition to transfer agreements with the state’s leading four-year universities, Blinn is home to pioneering co-enrollment programs such as the Texas A&M-Blinn TEAM Program and the Texas A&M Engineering Academies at Blinn.
According to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s CollegeForAllTexans.com, out-of-district Blinn students who enroll in 30 credit hours during the 2018-19 academic year save 42 percent in tuition and fees compared to students at public universities across the state. In addition to Blinn’s low tuition and fees, the Blinn Foundation offers 201 endowed scholarships available to incoming and returning students from a wide range of backgrounds, majors, and experiences.
