BRENHAM/BURTON/RT-C TO OPEN DISTRICT VOLLEYBALL

The Brenham Cubettes volleyball team opens district play tonight when they host the Rudder Rangers at the Brenham High School Gymnasium.

The Cubettes are off to a 17-10 start to the season with wins in nine of their last 10 matches.  The Rangers are 12-19 against an extremely strong schedule.

Two weekends ago, the Cubettes went 5-1 against a strong field at the Richmond Tournament.  Rudder was 2-7 against mostly 6A competition at the Smithson Valley Tournament.

First serve is set for 6:00 at the Brenham High School Gymnasium.

The Burton Lady Panthers (18-10) open up District 26/2A play tonight when they host Fayetteville at the Burton gym at 6:00.
