UNITY THEATRE SEASON BEGINS THURSDAY WITH ‘THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY’
Beginning tomorrow (Thursday), a new season of Unity Theatre is set to begin with performances of “The Savannah Sipping Society.”
The comedy, written by Jessie Jones, Jamie Wooten and Nicholas Hope, has four middle-aged Southern women facing different struggles in their lives.
The four come together to form bonds and start new lives, through misadventure and plenty of liquid refreshment.
Director Jimmy Phillips says the play features light-hearted fun, and teaches lessons about family and working through difficult times.
Performances start tomorrow and run each Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. with additional showtimes at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Shows will run through October 14th.
Tickets are $27, and can be purchased through the website at https://unitybrenham.org/, or by calling the Unity Theatre box office at 979-830-8358.
