2018 CUBS HALL OF HONOR CLASS SET

Tickets will go on sale soon for the 2018 Brenham High School Football Hall of Honor Banquet.

The annual banquet honoring Brenham’s football past, is set for Friday, October 26th at 11:30 a.m. at the Blinn College Student Center.

This year’s honorees include: Dallas Coleman, Allen Rosenbaum, Bill Davis and Michael O’Shea.

Coleman helped lead the Cubs to an 11-2 mark in 2001, passing for 1,300 yards and rushing for 650 more, accounting for 28 TDs. He was 18-4A's most valuable player. He had 1,600 yards of offense and 19 TDs as a junior.  Coleman went on to play college football at Texas State.

Rosenbaum was an All-District receiver/tight end for the Cubs in 1986 and ’87, where he helped lead the Cubs to a combined two-year record of 17-3-4.  He was also an All-State baseball player on the Cubs’ back-to-back State Championship teams of ’86 and ’87.  Rosenbaum went on to Blinn College and Texas A&M and is currently a Principal with the Corrinth Companies in The Woodlands.

Davis, a wide receiver on the 1971 and ’72 Cubs, is tenth on the single-season record list with 799 yards in 1972.  He had eight touchdowns that year, which is 12th on the single season list.  In 1972, Davis had a record-setting game against Cy Fair, in which he caught seven passes (18th) for 166 yards (8th).  He was an All-State receiver in 1972.

O’Shea, an early 60’s graduate of Brenham High School, became a highly-decorated athletic trainer in college and pro football.  After stints with the University of Texas, Kent State and the Air Force Academy, O’Shea moved on to the Baltimore Colts of the NFL.  He then moved back to college football with a career that included the University of Miami, Louisville and Houston, where he received numerous awards.

Tickets are $25.00 each and will be available soon from members of the Hall of Honor committee and from the Athletic Office at Brenham High School.
