BRENHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS TO HOST TEACHERS FROM CHINA

Several teachers from China will be visiting Brenham ISD tomorrow (Tuesday).

Tomorrow, Vivian Lee from Omega International, along with her China and U.S. teaching teams, will visit Krause and Brenham Elementary Schools.

They will observe several Brenham teachers in action, as part of a project they are working on with young children in China.  Lee’s joint team is currently working in China in a community of 600,000 people, teaching Chinese students English.

Lee’s team will first go to Krause Elementary to watch Kim Kwiatkowski teach her first grade class from 1:15 to 1:30 p.m.  They will then head to Shelby Parker’s second grade class from 1:35 to 1:50 p.m.  Following that, they will take a tour of the Krause Elementary campus from 1:50 to 2 p.m., before traveling to Brenham Elementary.

After arriving at Brenham Elementary, the team will observe as Emily Schulte teaches her first grade class from 2:15 to 2:30 p.m.  They will then go to the kindergarten class of Heather Deramus from 2:35 to 2:50 p.m.  They will conclude with a tour of the Brenham Elementary campus, from 2:50 to 3 p.m.
