AUSTIN MAN CHARGED WITH RESISTING ARREST
(Washington Co. Jail)
An Austin man is in custody after a Resisting Arrest charge.
Wednesday, just before 5:00 pm, Sgt. Trey Gully responded to an ongoing narcotics complaint.
Upon arrival, Gully and Officer Hunter Andras met with 19-year old Larry Stiles.
According to police, they could smell marijuana and Stiles appeared under the influence.
When Officers attempted to search Stiles, he reportedly began resisting.
Stiles was eventually taken into custody and charged with Resisting Arrest/Search or Transport.
