BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ‘AGGRAVATED ASSAULT’

A Brenham man faces an assault charge after his arrest Sunday afternoon.
Just after 12:00 noon, Corporal Ashley Burns responded to the 2300 block of Becker Drive in reference to an assault.
According to police, 28-year old Mario Chavez of Brenham allegedly threatened the victim with a weapon.
Chavez was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
