HOMELESS MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE LOCAL CHARGES

A Michigan man, who claims he’s homeless faces numerous charges after a Sunday morning arrest in Brenham.
According to Sargent Trey Gully, he observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the 600 West Alamo, just before 11:00 a.m., Sunday.
According to Gully, 30 year old Ricky James Bowker, a Michigan native who says he’s homeless, began resisting arrest.
Once subdued, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamines and a loaded handgun.
Bowker was charged with Resisting arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful possession of Firearm by a Felon.
Local police say additional investigation and charges are expected in this case, involving numerous burglary cases.
