TEXAS ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND IN BRENHAM

Downtown Brenham is preparing for the 3rd annual Texas Arts and Music Festival this weekend.

Beginning Friday, the Festival will showcase talented artists and musicians, along with plenty of vendors, throughout Downtown Brenham.  Some of this weekend’s activities include an art village, live street art, several musical performances, and a craft beer tasting hosted by the Texas Chapter of the Zythological Society.

Featured artist Chad Eaton has had his work featured all over the world, including design work for the lifestyle brand Element, and for murals in Austin.  Eaton is one of three artists coming to the Festival, including Michael Rodriguez and David Flores, also known as “Skeez.”

In addition, new artwork will be painted onto the Home Sweet Farm building, which had two murals removed from it in early October.

This year’s music lineup features talent from in and out of Texas.  Entertainers include the Brown Sugar Band, Cody Canada and the Departed, Bri Bagwell and the Banned, Kody West, Jaime Wyatt, and Grant Gilbert.  The Brenham Children’s Choir will also perform.

The Festival is free to the public, but VIP tickets are available for access to the VIP tent on Saturday.  The tent has reserved seating, and offers the chance to meet artists and bands.
