HOUSTON WOMAN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM FOR STABBING
(Washington Co. Jail)
The Brenham Police Department was called out to a stabbing this (Tuesday) morning.
Police were called out shortly before 8 a.m. to the 700 block of Medical Parkway, by Baylor Scott and White Hospital, in response to a report of an aggravated assault with a knife.
19-year-old Olive Kaday Sheriff of Houston was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, in retaliation for a previous case handled by police.
Brenham Police Chief Allwin Barrow believes the assault was connected to the recent ruling in the Michael Dixon murder trial. In that trial, Dixon was sentenced to 45 years in prison by a jury, for the murder of Blinn College student Trey Kurtz.
The victim was reported to have non-life threatening injuries. Investigation continues.
