KWHI HOSTING “CANDIDATES FORUM” WEDNESDAY
KWHI is hosting a “Candidates’ Forum” tonight (Wednesday) for the two locally contested races for November’s election.
The Forum takes place at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank.
Each of the candidates for Washington County Commissioner of Precinct Two—Democrat Ira Joe Newsome and Republican Candice Bullock—along with Democratic candidate for State Representative of District 13, Cecil Webster, will be attending the forum this evening.
Republican candidate Ben Leman will not be able to attend the forum, as his office has indicated he will be busy in Austin with meetings. Leman is currently serving as District 13th State Representative, after winning a special election in May.
KWHI’s Ed Pothul will moderate the Forum, and will take questions from people in attendance, from news media, and from emails sent to mail@kwhi.com.
