POLICE ARREST AUSTIN MAN ON WARRANTS

An Austin man was arrested in Brenham on two active warrants.
Wednesday, around 6:50 p.m., Corporal David Dudenhoeffer stopped a vehicle in the 2100 block of U.S. Highway 290 West.
The driver, 48-year-old Thong Minh Doung of Austin, was placed in custody for two active warrants. He was charged with two counts of Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals.
Doung was taken to the Washington County Jail.
