CUBS HOST BASTROP ON ‘HALL OF HONOR’ NIGHT

The Brenham Cubs look to continue their run in district when they host Bastrop tonight at Cubs Stadium.

The Cubs (4-3/3-1) have won three straight games in District 13/5A play, while the Bears (5-2/3-1) suffered their only district loss two weeks ago at East View.

Brenham is coming off a solid 35-20 win over Elgin, while the Bears ripped Marble Falls, 34-7.

Kickoff at Cubs Stadium is set for 7:30, with the pre-game show at 7:00 on AM-1280 KHWI, FM-101.7 and www.kwhi.com.

Tonight is also Hall of Honor night.

This afternoon at a luncheon at Blinn College, Dallas Coleman, Allen Rosenbaum, Bill Davis and Michael O’Shea will be inducted into the Hall of Honor.

They will also be honored at Cubs Stadium prior to tonight’s kickoff.
