STRONG EARLY VOTING TURNOUT CONTINUES IN WASHINGTON COUNTY

While maybe not at the pace of earlier this week, early voting continues to show high turnout in Washington County.

County Clerk Beth Rothermel says on Thursday, 889 ballots were cast for November’s General Election.  This brings the in-person total through four days to 4,306 ballots.

Early voting continues throughout the weekend to next Friday.  Today (Friday), the Washington County Courthouse Annex will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  It will also be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

Rothermel says to keep in mind that this will be the only weekend that early voting is open in Washington County.  The Courthouse Annex will be open until 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
