MOTHER OF MISSING COLLEGE STATION CHILD ARRESTED MONDAY

Police have arrested the mother of a child that went missing Sunday morning from Gabbard Park in College Station.

According to records online, 21-year-old Tiaundra Christon was taken into custody early this (Monday) morning.  She has been charged with child endangerment, as well as giving a false report to police.

Officers from the College Station Police Department report that Christon, the mother of 2-year-old Hazana Anderson, left the child by herself in a stroller for a short time, to get a bottle for her.  The girl was gone when she came back.  Anderson was officially reported missing about 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

Christon spent most of Sunday afternoon talking with investigators at the police station, while Hazana’s father, Brodrick Anderson, was at the park as authorities continued their search.

Anyone with information on the matter is asked to call College Station police at 979-764-3600.
