HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES IN WASHINGTON COUNTY
There’s certainly no shortage of Halloween events going around Washington County tonight (Wednesday).
Here are just a few of the events going on around the area:
Trick-or-treaters are invited to come out to Westwood Cinema 6 in Brenham from 3:30 to 7 p.m. People in costume who purchase a movie ticket will have a chance to pick a lucky pumpkin from the pumpkin pot, for prizes at the cinema including free concessions and movie passes. Featured movies throughout the day include Goosebumps 2, The Old Man and the Gun, Halloween, The Hate You Give, Venom, and A Star is Born.
Open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the Great Pumpkin Patch is open at Christ Lutheran Day School in Brenham at 104 Carlee Drive. Guests are invited to come pick out a pumpkin and take pictures in the pumpkin patch.
From 5 to 7:30 p.m., the Prairie Hill – Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its annual Fright Night in Independence, at the old school house on the town square. The Prairie Hill VFD has partnered with area churches, 4-H groups and families to provide plenty of fun and candy.
The First Baptist Church in Chappell Hill is hosting its Fall Festival from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be plenty of food, games, and fun to be had. Families and friends are encouraged to come out and have a safe night of fun.
The “Brenham Boo Bash” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Washington County Boys and Girls Club. Activities include a haunted house, a mechanical bull, bumper cars, face painting, live music, and of course, trick-or-treating.
The Brenham Bible Church is hosting its “Light the Night” event from 6 to 8 p.m., at the former KC Hall on FM 577. Families are invited to come enjoy fun, games, candy and prizes.
From 6 to 8 p.m., the Brenham Police Department and Brenham Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will host their annual Halloween Candy Drive-Thru. They will be giving out candy and donuts at Max Donuts. The event is free.
KWHI encourages everyone to have a happy—and safe—Halloween.
Baylor Scott and White hospital has a Trick or Treat event from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
