TEXANS ACQUIRE WR THOMAS IN DEADLINE DEAL

The Denver Broncos send former Pro Bowl wide receiver Damaryius Thomas to the Houston Texans for a fourth-round pick in next year’s draft. The teams will also swap seventh round picks.
Thomas will fill the position vacated with the injury to William Fuller, who is out for the rest of the season.
Thomas 30, is second on the Broncos in receptions (36) and receiving yards (402) and tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns (three) this season. He also has the second-most receiving yards (9,055) and touchdown catches (60) in Broncos history,.
The trade also means, former Brenham Cubs, Courtland Sutton will likely become the Broncos #2 target along with Bellville-native Emanuel Sanders.
