BRENHAM JACK IN THE BOX CLOSED FOR RENOVATION
Jack in the Box in Brenham has closed, as it prepares for renovation.
Deputy City Secretary Karen Stack says the City of Brenham has issued a $300,000 permit for the location on 400 Highway 290 West, for remodeling and additions to the existing building.
The permit was issued on November 5th, and will be contracted out to Prodel Corporation out of Tomball.
A spokesperson for Prodel Corporation, who declined to be named, said the work consists of tearing down the old building with the exception of a few exterior walls. The restaurant will then be rebuilt and expanded, with about 1,000 extra square feet.
Construction is expected to be completed in roughly 90 days.
