TWO ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING

Two people from Brenham have been charged after their arrests for theft at a local department store, Saturday.
Just before 5:30, police were dispatched to WalMart, in the 200 block of US Highway 290 West.

According to police, investigation revealed that two people, identified as 59-year old Nicolas Gallegos Aguilar and 51-year old Teresa Aguilar of Brenham, had tried to walk out of the store with unpaid merchandise.
Both were arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail where they were charged with Class B Theft of Property.
