SEARCH ON IN CALDWELL FOR NEW FOOTBALL COACH

Caldwell is looking for a new head football coach and Athletic Director.

KBTX is reporting that Bobby Jack Goforth has resigned the post and is planning to retire.

Goforth has been the head coach of the Hornets for the past six seasons, making the playoffs four times before a 3-7 season this year, missing the playoffs by one game.

The school board meets next week, and hopes to have a new coach and AD in place by the end of January.
