SUSPECT SOUGHT IN GRIMES CO. CONVENIENCE STORE THEFT

Grimes County authorities are investigating a recent theft of around $400 of lottery tickets at the Gibbons Creek Convenience Store.

At around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, November 9th, a person entered the store in the 5000 block of State Highway 30, near the Carlos Community.  The individual was reported to have stolen approximately $400 in scratch off Texas Lottery tickets.

Grimes County Sheriff’s Investigators have released still frames from obtained surveillance footage.  The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing, with a white four-door sedan.  Photos of the suspect can be seen here, and on the Grimes County Crime Stoppers Facebook page.

Anyone who has information on this crime can submit an anonymous tip to Grimes County Crime Stoppers at 936-873-2000.  They are offering up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
