TxDOT TO HOLD RAIL PLAN MEETING IN AUSTIN
The Texas Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting to discuss the 2019 Texas Rail Plan, Tuesday in Austin.
Among the topics to be discussed and addressed will be current rail projects. Among those projects is the proposed Dallas-to-Houston Hi-Speed Rail Project.
The board will also hear comments on: the Rail Highway, Rail Safety, Freight Rail and Passenger Rail.
According to TxDOT, the 2019 Texas Rail Plan “reflects the latest rail project priorities and fulfills federal funding eligibility requirements.”
Those interested in participating in the 2019 Texas Rail Plan public meeting may do so in person at 200 E. Riverside Drive, in Austin; through WebEX by using Host Room ID: 737 631 929 and Password: MxB5WXC6; or through the teleconference by calling toll free 1-855-437-3563.

If this is the same TXDOT that dumped asphalt on the great 290 Brenham Overpass instead of raising the sunken concrete slabs over BlueBell Rd then we can all be sure the rail will be a complete disaster.
They had several meetings last year, it will go through with eminent domain. It will be a giant waSte of money but they will do it. They have bankrupted California with the same rail system and they are only utilize 10 percent of the trains.
