MYSTERIOUS INVESTIGATION THURSDAY IN LEE CO.

  

The Lee County Sheriff's Office has refused to release any details involving what appeared to be a massive manhunt, Thursday near Giddings.

A dispatcher, reportedly confirmed to media that deputies were searching for a suspect, but that no details would be released until Friday.

The Giddings Times & News reported that the deputies and DPS were searching for suspects involved in a home burglary investigation between Dime Box and Giddings.

An FBI spokesperson said rumors of the investigation involving a bank robbery were false.
