BRENHAM P.D. MAKES TWO D.W.I. ARRESTS
Brenham Police made a pair of DWI arrests, Sunday afternoon.
Just after 1:00 a.m., Sgt. Trey Gully, pulled over a 2008 Cadillac in the 200 block of West Vulcan for driving with no headlights on.
The driver, 29 year old Sean Michael Griffin of Brenham, was deemed by officers to be highly intoxicated and was taken into custody.
Griffin was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Then, at approximately 5:45 a.m., Cpl. John Snowden, responded to the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, to a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway.
Investigation revealed that the driver, 34-year old Eloy Sanchez Escobar of Bastrop, was reportedly passed out due to his level of intoxication
Escobar was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated with an open container of alcohol.
Escobar was taken to the Washington County Jail.
