BRENHAM F.D. RESPONDS TO GAS LEAK

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a number of calls, Monday, including a gas leak.

The Department was called out just before noon to the 400 block of Laney Street where a contractor has struck a gas line.

The firefighters were on stand-by as the City of Brenham Gas Department capped the line.

The Department was dispatched just after 7:00 p.m. to the Motel-6 on Highway 290 West to an alarm.

They found a person cooking in their room-causing the alarm.  No action was taken.

The department was also called out on three false alarms.
