NAVASOTA TEACHER ARRESTED

  

A Navasota teacher has been arrested, accused of having an improper relationship with a student.

30-year old Jennifer Drushel of College Station, was taken into custody Monday afternoon, after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Navasota ISD Superintendent Dr. Stu Musick says the improper conduct may have taken place off-campus.

Musick says Drushel is now on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation and will not be allowed to return to any campus.

Drushel was a Forensic Science & Environmental Science Teacher and the school's Color-guard Director.

Drushel was booked into the Grimes County Jail on the charge of Improper Relationship between Educator and Student, a 2nd degree felony.
