BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WINNERS AT HLSR ART PROGRAM
Three Brenham High School students were recently recognized as winners in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Program. Jolie Menjares was awarded Best of Show and Emily Bean won a Gold Medal in the Painting category. Raigan Halstead was a Gold Medal Winner in the Mixed Media category.
The School Art Program receives entries from 142 different school districts in the Houston Area. Last year, the rodeo received over 200,000 art entries from students in grades K through 12.
