THREE ARRESTED AFTER SHORT CHASE IN BRENHAM

(Washington Co. Jail)
Three men, including two juveniles, were arrested Tuesday night in Brenham after a brief chase involving multiple agencies.
Just after 8 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Vanessa Morales saw a vehicle headed south on Burleson Street that was possibly involved in a burglary that had just occurred at the Country Place Northwest subdivision.
Deputy Morales stopped the vehicle, but it sped away, disregarding a stop sign at the intersection of Burleson Street and Blue Bell Road.
The vehicle came to a stop in the 1000 block of Burleson Street, when all three occupants fled on foot. A short time later, with help from the Brenham and Blinn Police Departments, the suspects were taken into custody.
The two juvenile men were charged with Evading Arrest, and were released to their parents at the request of Juvenile Probation. The adult, 17-year-old Zacchaeus Zechariah Miles of Brenham, was charged with Evading Arrest and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
Miles is currently in the Washington County Jail, with bond at $3,000.
