TYSON RECALLING CHICKEN NUGGETS FOR POSSIBLE RUBBER CONTAMINATION

  

Tyson Foods is recalling over 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets, over concerns they may be contaminated with rubber.

According to a release issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the problem was discovered when consumers brought forth complaints of extraneous material in 5-pound bags of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets.  There have not been any confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The packages, which were shipped to retail stores nationwide, have a “best if used by” date of November 26, 2019.  The case code is 3308SDL03, and has an establishment number of “P-13556” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
