WEATHER SPOTTER TRAINING COURSE TUESDAY IN BRENHAM
The Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham will be the site of a weather spotter training course this (Tuesday) evening.
Hosted by the National Weather Service, the course will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and cover what to look for in severe weather events.
Lake City Forecast Office Director Dan Riley will discuss how to identify different cloud formations, and how they relate to the severity of thunderstorms. He will also talk on how to contact the National Weather Service and report weather events.
The training is free and open to the public.
