DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS THIS WEEKEND
It’s time to “spring forward” an hour, as Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend.
At 2 a.m. Sunday morning, the time will move up an hour. Remember to set your clock forward one hour before going to sleep Saturday night.
For many people, that means one less hour of sleep. It also means the sun won’t come up as early in the morning, but sunlight will last later into the evening.
Note that many electronic devices like cell phones and computers will automatically adjust the time, but make sure all of your clocks are in sync.
Daylight Saving Time is observed in the Northern Hemisphere from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, when “standard time” begins.
