ONE DEAD AFTER SHOOTING AT APARTMENT COMPLEX IN WALLER

  

Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting that has left one person dead in Waller.

A man’s body was found in the parking lot of The Ranch Apartments at Waller on FM 2920, near Highway 290.

Investigators say the shooting occurred inside an apartment around midnight Monday night, with authorities receiving a call for help early this (Tuesday) morning.

Waller police said two to three suspects entered an apartment and shot the victim, then fled the scene.  There were no signs of forced entry.

Witnesses said they attempted to carry the victim to a car to take him to the hospital, but he died before police arrived at the scene.

Waller police, Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies, and Texas Rangers are investigating the case.  The two to three suspects have only been described as young males.  The victim was a man in his 20s.
