ROAD CLOSURES THURSDAY IN WASHINGTON CO.

  

Several roads in Washington County will undergo repairs tomorrow (Thursday), and will be temporarily closed.

The Washington County Road and Bridge Department will be closing Airport Road from the intersection of Old Independence Road to FM 50.  The road will be closed between 8 and 10 a.m.  The department will be replacing road culverts between 2352 and 2909 Airport Road.

Then, from 10 a.m. to noon, Old Independence Road will be closed from the intersection of Airport Road to Tommelson Creek Road.  Road culverts will be replaced between 3805 and 5800 Old Independence Road.

Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.  The Road and Bridge Department says traffic will be clear to go east on Airport Road.

All work is weather permitting.
