BENTKE FIRES PERFECT GAME FOR UT-TYLER

A Brenham native threw a perfect game, Friday night in college softball.
Former Brenham Cubette and Blinn Buc, Colleen Bentke, tossed a perfect game in UT-Tyler’s 8-0 win over Belhaven University, Friday night in Tyler.
It was Bentke’s third no-hitter in two seasons as a Patriot—her first perfect game. She threw just 62 pitches and struck out a season-high nine batters.
Bentke is now 12-2 in 15 starts this season for the Patriots (22-2). She has an ERA of 1.57, with 70 strikeouts in 75 innings pitched.
Bentke was named All-District all four years at Brenham High School and was an NJCAA All-American for the Bucs.
