BRENHAM ISD HOSTING CUB TALKS THURSDAY
Brenham ISD will present its second annual Cub Talks program Thursday.
The Cub Talks Emerging Leaders Symposium is a student leadership opportunity for students in 7th through 12th grade. The program will take place Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon in the Brenham High School auditorium.
Guest speakers for the event will share stories of inspiration, triumph, and success. They include Blinn Business and Economics Instructor Andy Harrington, Blinn student Ah’Jaya Johnson, commercial photographer and social media manager Natalie Lacy Lange, Brenham ISD Communications Director Jessica Johnston, and Brenham ISD Assistant Athletic Director Danny Ramsey.
In addition, Brenham High School student Ryann Fatheree will perform live music in between speakers.
Nearly 500 students were selected by Brenham ISD staff to attend this special event. Although it is targeted at developing youth leaders, the district invites any parents or community members to join them in the auditorium on Thursday.
