BREAKING NEWS: MAIFEST JUNIOR CORONATION MOVED UP TO THURSDAY

  

Update @ 4:55 p.m.: The Junior Maifest Coronation will remain tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m.

Original Story @ 9:54 a.m.: Officials with the Brenham Maifest have decided to move the Junior Coronation up a day.

After considering numerous options, the Maifest Committee has decided that in the interest of safety and happiness of the children, they will hold the Junior Coronation Thursday (tonight).

Officials say they will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and talk to the meteorologist again. The plan is to still begin at 7:00, but in the event that the weather indicates, they could move the Coronation to 6:00.

The Maifest committee is asking parents to please have their children ready to go at 6:00.

The Maifest Committee will continue to update the public throughout the day.
