BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ABUSING A CHILD
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child, following his arrest Thursday.
Brenham Police report the arrest of 45-year old Larry DeWitt Jackson on a charge of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
Jackson was arrested Thursday by Brenham Detective Ashley Burns following an extensive investigation, which involved the Brenham Police Department, Brenham ISD Resource Officers and BISD officials.
The victim is a student in the Brenham ISD.
Justice of the Peace Ken Tofel has set Jackson’s bond at $1.5-million. He is being held in the Washington County Jail.
