HOUSTON MAN ACCUSED IN MURDER OF CAB DRIVER ARRESTED IN BELLVILLE

A man wanted out of Harris County in the shooting death of a Yellow Cab driver has been arrested in Bellville.
19-year-old Jiterion Kegler of Houston was arrested after police located him this (Friday) morning at Park Place Apartments in Bellville. He has been charged with murder in the death of cab driver Michael Ubani.
Kegler was said to have been armed and dangerous, so the Austin County Special Response Team moved in to make the arrest. He was taken into custody without incident.
The shooting occurred Monday afternoon around 1 p.m., at a Kroger store on Montrose Boulevard in Houston.

The Houston Police Department said Kegler walked up to the cab in the parking lot, fired several rounds and fled the scene. Ubani was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died on Tuesday.
Kegler is currently being held in the Austin County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Harris County.
