PUPPIES AND KITTENS AVAILABLE AT BRENHAM PET ADOPTION CENTER
Several puppies and kittens are available for adoption at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center.
Cali and her two Border Collie mix siblings came to the shelter as strays. Including Cali, the puppies are two girls and one boy. They are approximately 12 weeks old, and are a bit shy but are starting to come out of their shells.
Meanwhile, several litters of kittens have been born at the shelter, with the first litter now old enough for adoption at seven weeks old. The litter includes an orange tabby, with the rest of the litter white, Siamese, and light grey.
Anyone interested in fostering a mama and kittens until they are old enough for adoption is encouraged to contact Brenham Animal Services. Staff say the shelter nursery is currently “bursting at the seams”, and it leaves more space in the shelter for incoming animals when mamas and kittens go to foster.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center will also be holding its first ever microchipping event on Saturday, May 18th. Pets can be microchipped for $10. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the adoption center at 1804 Longwood Drive, as well as Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails at 321 South Baylor Street. There will also be pets available for adoption.
